Editing a Page Using The Quick Editor

The quick editor is a tool that gives you a quick and easy way to edit the text and images on your page.
  1. Log in to the website
  2. Navigate to the page on the site that you want to change
  3. In the tools panel at the bottom of the page, click the box next to Quick Edit and hit apply
  4. An editor appears in the middle of your page that contains the text for your page. Make the changes you need and hit OK.

Editing a Page Using the Edit links

When you want to edit other features besides just the text and images, you can use Edit Links.

  1. Log in to the website
  2. Navigate to the page on the site that you want to change
  3. In the tools panel at the bottom of the page, click the box next to Edit and hit apply
  4. When the page redraws, there are dotted lines around areas on the page, dividing it into boxes. In the middle is the "Content Box" in which the main text and images for the page are located. In the upper left corner of content box is a small green "paper and pencil" icon.
  5. Click the "Paper and Pencil" icon in the upper left corner of the content box.
  6. When the page redraws, you are in the full admin editor. There are several tabs that group different aspects of the page together. The main tab is called "Details", and it includes, among other things, the text and images for the page.
  7. When you have made your changes, hit OK to return to the site and see your changes.

Editing a Page Directly from the Admin Site

  1. Log in to the website
  2. Navigate to the admin site by clicking the "Admin Site" link at the very bottom of the page
  3. Using the Navigator on the left, Open the folder "Managing Site Content"
  4. Click on the link "Page"
  5. When the page redraws, you will see on the left, a list of all the pages on your site.
  6. Use the Find button at the bottom of the list to locate pages by searching the fields in the list
  7. Open the Filters panel to the left of the list and click "Set Columns" to change the columns in your view
  8. Search for records using Advanced Search, also in the filters panel.
  9. When you find the page you want to edit, click the "Paper and Pencil" icon to the left of the row, and edit as you need
  10. When you have made your changes, hit OK to return to the list of pages.
