Contensive Security settings are consolidated in the Security tab on the preferences page. To access these settings, login and click on ADMIN, then SETTINGS and PREFERENCES.

Allow Password Email

When checked, the Contensive Login and Registration Add-ons will automatically include a password request form. When the user enters his/her email address, the username and password combination from all matching member records are send to that email address.

Allow Auto Recognize

When checked, returning users will be associated to the member account that their computer browser had been assigned in it's last visit. This does not allow to have access to the permissions of the member, or to access protected pages or sections. For that, you have to turn on Auto Login.

Allow Auto Login

When checked, returning users are automatically logged in to the member account that their computer browser had been assigned in it's last visit. When enabled, care must be taken to logout from publicly available computers before closing the browser. The next user of the computer will be given the same access rights as the previous user.

Allow link Recognize

If this is checked when an email is sent, links in the content of the email that point back to the site will be modified to include a special recognition code. If Allow Link Recognize is checked, when the recipient of that email clicks the link, they will be recognized, but not logged in.
