Populating the Home Page with Content

Rotating Slider

The graphic at the top of the page can rotate among several images. To add images to the slider, login and click on ADMIN, TCA 2014 DESIGN and then HOME PAGE HERO BANNERS. You will see a list of all images currently on the website. To edit one, click the paper/pencil icon by the name; to add a new one click ADD. You will then name the new record, and then upload an image and enter a URL if you want that banner to be linked to a specific web page. Image size should be 1024px x 360px. Click OK to save the new image and text.

Populating the Tweets

The tweets automatically populate from the two most recent tweets added to your site.

Popular Section

To add/edit images and links in this section, login and click on ADMIN. Next click on MANAGE ADD-ONS, TCA 2014 DESIGN, and then TCA POPULAR TOPICS. Click ADD to add a new topic or on the paper/pencil icon to edit one. Here you will enter the caption you want to show in the NAME field, upload the image, add the URL that you want to go to when someone clicks on the image, and add text that you want to display when someone hovers over the image. Click OK to save changes.

Meet TCA Section

The Meet TCA section lists the first three people in the Board of Directors group. To add someone to the list, add them to the Board Of Directors group. Login and click on ADMIN. Next click on MANAGE USERS and then PEOPLE. Find the person you want to add to the group. Click on the paper/pencil icon to open their record. Upload a photo is in the IMAGES tab in the ORIGINAL IMAGE field. Go to the GROUPS tab and click the box next to BOARD OF DIRECTORS to add them to the group. Click SAVE to save changes. Next, to edit the Role with the Board of Directors, go to the PERSONALIZE tab and click the link in the GROUP MEMBERSHIP LIST field. Open the record and type the title in the ROLE field. Click OK to save changes.

Happenings Section

To add/edit images and links in this section, login and click on ADMIN. Next click on MANAGE ADD-ONS, TCA 2014 DESIGN, and then TCA HAPPENINGS. Click ADD to add a new topic or on the paper/pencil icon to edit one. Here you will enter the caption you want to show in the NAME field, upload the image, add the URL that you want to go to when someone clicks on the image, and add the alpha sort order for the record. Click OK to save changes.

The Members Only links at the bottom will only display if the user is a member. This is a dynamic menu of all the pages in the Members Only section. 

Latest News is the two latest articles in Press releases. To edit these login and click on ADMIN. Next click on MANAGE ADD-ONS, TCA 2014 DESIGN and then PRESS RELEASES. The HEADLINE and PUBLISH date will display on the home page, and the two with the most recent dates will show on this page.
